Best Gaming PC Stores Online

Is this the best gaming pc deal in the world today?

I think I may have found one of the best deals for a gaming pc ever. Its a small ebay power seller company called venom electronics with 99.8% positive feedback. It is water cooled with an overclocked pentium q6600 processor to 12ghz (4 cores running at 3ghz each) , 4gb mem, thermaltake case, 3 x SLI 9800 gtx 512mb nvidia graphics cards (yes, 3 of them) and everything else, including a 1 year collect and return warranty. All for £1,360! ($2,700) They told me that it runs cooler than a non overclocked system would with regular air cooling. In the U.S.A everything is generally cheaper than in the UK. For the best dell XPS gaming system (which is no where near as powerful) it costs about £3000 over here ($6000) . The cheapest I found the 9800 gtx for in the uk is £270, that is $540. multiply that by 3 and add the rest and you will always spend at least £2000 ($4000) building it yourself and that wont include a 1 year support warranty either. Considering this, are there better deals out there?

  1. That is awesome!, but i can build a pc better than that for less. All you have to do is some research and buy all your parts from tigerdirect.com. I just built my pc and Im playing Crysis at 189fps!!!!! U HEARD THAT? 189FPS!!!!!! QUAD SLI!!!!! for about $3200! you dont have to go all out, but if you want to get a good pc, learn about what all those funny numbers and letters mean in the products name, and save a LOT of $$$, then just build ur own pc. some good sites are tigerdirect.com and newegg.com for parts. Tigerdirect has a guide to build ur own pc on their site.

  2. no it is not i could easily build a cheaper system.. if you want to build a kick ass system thats under 2000 you could even with 3 9800gtx's since each only cost around $350 max could even cost 320 when you shop around...

    seriously right this is what i got

    350x3=1050

    Q6600=266

    4gb mem=80

    liquid cooling=200

    thermaltake case=max. cause you didn't tell us what it is=300

    $1896

    still sound like a good deal...????

    lets include everything else

    motherboard=250

    powersupply=150

    dvd drive=30

    total 2326

  3. You have to be skeptical about watercooling. Watercooling of the cheap variety can leak and screw up the whole system. Water cooling can be a good thing, but even the name brands have bad parts. Water cooling is something I would rather handle myself if dealing with a computer over $2000...
