HP ENVY 17 For Gaming..? I am thinking about getting an HP ENVY 17 series as a Christmas present to myself this December. I know about computers and how to operate them, but I don't know all that much about the hardware and internal components. If I get the maxed-out ENVY 17 direct from HP, with the following specifications: - 2nd generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2820QM (2.3 GHz, 8MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 3.4 GHz - 1GB GDDR5 Radeon(TM) HD 6850M Graphics [HDMI] - 16GB 1333MHz DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm) - 1.5TB 7200RPM Dual Hard Drive (750GB x 2) with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection - 30% OFF! One 6-Cell and One 9-Cell Lithium Ion Battery - 17.3" diagonal Full HD HP Ultra BrightView Infinity LED Display (1920x1080) ...will all of that be enough to run GTA IV, GTA San Andreas, Mafia II, or Garrysmod smoothly? I do know of the overheating problems, I've owned HP Pavillions for 5 years now. That does not bother me. Let me know! (and no smartass or "get a Mac" answers, please) Thanks!

Buying a dell for gaming? I've been offered a dell studio xps 8000 for a great price. Ill put in a full list of specs here: Intel® Core™ i7 870-processor (2,93 GHz, 8 MB L3 cache) Original Windows® 7 Home Premium 64bit 6144 MB (2 x 2 GB/2 x 1 GB) DDR3 Dual Channel-hukommelse på 1067 MHz 1,5 TB Seriel ATA-harddisk (7.200 omdr./min.) 1 GB Nvidia GeForce GTS 240-grafikkort 16X DVD+/- RW Optical Drive (DVD & CD read and write) (Win 7 Only) It looks like a good pc, but will it be able to run new games at max settings? Im thinking of modern warfare 2, left 4 dead 2 etc. Is the graphic card any good, and does anyone know if I will be able to upgrade to SLI later on? All in all, would you buy this computer for gaming? will I be able to use it to play games the next 2-3 years too? (maybe not on full details ofc.) I know I could buy a alienware etc. for extreme gaming performance, but honestly I don't wanna spend that much money.
