I am looking into going to Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising for several things, such as fashion design, graphic design, business marketing, etc.. I am just curious how the experience there is and the overall enviroment. Please let me know what campus you went or are going to.
Why designers prefer mac over pc? is there any specific reason or it's just because it is cooler? I am starting in design and can't see why, PS is the same in mac or pc doesn't it?

What makes Mac so much better? I am a college bound senior that is going to be shopping for laptops shortly. I am majoring in Managerial Marketing however I am also working as a graphic designer and possible be working with some video editing. I was wondering what programs or features that make a Mac so good? Also- what do you suggest I get/look for? Thank you so much!!!
Which laptop should i get? I'm looking towards getting a new laptop, ill be using it for everything whether it be gaming, school work, or just internet. I am trying to decide which i should get, i have i high budget of $5000, and yes i have my own prefrances of laptops and which brands i like. i know quite a bit about when it comes to computers but i'm just trying to get more than one opinion. I have been looking towards an alienware 17x, but many others have grabbed my attention such as an origin high performance laptop, and some brands like falcon. Someone told me to look into an M-Tech laptop, i have never heard of them and their website looks real cheap, so i am not sure about them. please give me your opinions on these brands or any others i should look harder at.

Apple Laptops Versus PC Laptops? Hello! I want some advice regarding about laptops. So, my old PC is about to break down anytime and I'm wondering if I should still get a PC or Apple Laptops. I've been asking around and seeing what mode of system is better, PC system or Apple system. Anyways, now I'm thinking of re buying a PC laptop or I'm thinking of getting a Apple Laptop. Is this a good PC for gaming, and how good? :) will choose best answer!? Well. I'm confused with witch PC I should buy. I am bying laptop cuz I'll use it for school and with friends. I am from norway so I'll have to buy from Norway (Sucks...) well back to question. Is this a good gaming PC and can I play games like Battelfield 3, Metro 2033 (something like that) and Crysis (with mods) at 30-50 FPS? These are the specs. 15.6" Wide LED matt Full HD screen 1920*1080 3rd gen Intel® Core™ i7 3610QM 2.4-3.3GHz processor, 4 cores. Intel HM77 Express chipset 16GB DDR3 1600MHz SO-DIMM minne (4x4GB) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M 4GB GDDR5 graphic card Intel SSD 120GB + 750GB hardrive. Please answers your full opinion on the PC, and what types of game I can play and how mutch graphical performance. This build costs ca 2300 dollars witch I think is quite cheap with gtx 680m, 120 GB ssd, and 16 gb ram. Am I right? Is it cheap? Will choose best answer :)
Dell desktop or gateway? I can't decide on which to get for average gaming. I plan on getting a Dell or gateway for Christmas to play a mmorpg called 9dragons id post its minimum requirements here but I'm on a mobile phone so its tough to get so if you wouldn't mind a small trip over to its site that'd be great :D but anyways I don't plan on live streaming or playing on its highest graphic settings. I Simply want to play with smooth movement and minimal lag. I guess it's tough to get a pc with these specs and a low price range of 500$ or less :/ but anyway I've had a gateway that recently died around dec of last year had it for about 8 or 9 years so seeing people say gateway has many problems is strange to me wich is why I'm here trying to see some dec 2012 answers. I will be bringing this laptop with me to college for a major in computer science. I overshot pretty significantly, and want a second opinion on how long it will still be technically "relevant". Rob Pamp - great shopping place, they have a LOT of outlet yards, namely "Mango, Plains & Prints, Benetton, Sisley, Nike, Naturalizer, and a whole lot more...whoooohooooo a haven for shopaholics.. I wonder if we have more of these here in the Phils... My friends and I got cool stuffs such as; Benetton shirts- P400/pc Mango shoes- P1200 Nine West shoes- 1000 Mango Wallet - 300 and a whole lot more.. they should be paying me for this. NIKE shoes are around 900-2k- old styles but deffinitely new.

How can I sell on brand new branded Religion high street clothing to a boutique or independent? I have a few box load of samples from a top end high street brand, religion and House of the gods. The box consists of ex showroom samples and newly packaged items. There is only one of each item. How can i sell this onto someone i.e an independent boutique or someone who will buy cash in hand. I basically want a quick transaction, a box of 50 pcs for an amount. The clothing consists of Autumn Winter 09 and Summer 2010 collections. Our tees generally retails for £40, jeans £70. Obviously not expecting this per item but just a reasonably profit. I am based in London
